In the ad biz’s never ending quest to obfuscate the English language, during an approach to mental health support for teens, the Ad Council and BBDO New York have worked with experts — and with teens themselves — to create what they hope becomes a new buzzword among 13- to 17-year-olds: “zill.” Supposedly, it was “inspired by the word ‘resilience’ and is broader than ‘chilling,” and is designed to “include any constructive action that feels grounding or supportive. It all sounds like a giant crock of shit too me. But then, most things do these days!
Except things like this!!!
